my work is deeply inspired by local tales and imagery of the forgotten times, in which nature & the land is woven into a colourful tapestry together with the human, animal, plant and unseen peoples. where ‘mythical’ creatures were still breathing and vibrantly alive, humans remembered how to speak with other species and life on earth seemed to be drenched in magic.
